Horse Riding at Woodlands School with RDA

Pupils who will be offered the opportunity to horse ride must:

• be in Year 4 or below (depending on spaces)
• be able to sit independently astride a moving horse
• be able to sit safely and calmly while on the horse
• be able to behave in a way which does not cause harm or alarm to the horses
• be able to stand to transfer
• have no spinal rods
• have controlled epilepsy
• all pupils may need to be assessed  and approved by an RDA Physio
